We will protect the information you enter. Some systems do not use SSL encryption for their web pages. At ReallyWho, information transfers are all encrypted. Additionally, sensitive information, such as your date of birth or phone number, is discarded after verification is complete.

We will never ask for your Social Security Number or use credit reporting services. When services ask for your SSN, they are very likely using Equifax, TransUnion, Experian or one of the other credit reporting agencies. In these systems, your full credit history may be accessed. ReallyWho needs no SSN and does not use credit reporting services.

We will use identity questions for verification, not documents that can be faked. In the digital age, systems that rely on documents, such as driver’s licenses, passports, utility bills, etc., are simply too easy to fake, especially over the web. ReallyWho uses carefully developed questions based on your public and commercial records to which only you should know the answer.

We will respect your privacy. We do not see your public or commercial records, and your identity questions and answers are discarded when verification is complete. You control the information that appears on your ReallyWho Profile. Verified Profiles show a person’s legal name and location to help distinguish between people with the same name, but all other information is controlled by you, the account owner. Show as much or as little information as you like – it’s up to you.

We will never sell your information. One way or another, sooner or later, free services will sell your information. We have a simple fee-for-service model based on keeping you, the customer, happy. ReallyWho charges $5 per year with a money-back satisfaction guarantee.

We will make identity verification easier and safer by providing one place to verify all your websites. Improve privacy and security by not giving your verification information to multiple places. Supply your information at ReallyWho once, and then receive verification for up to 20 websites.

We will provide on-going identity verification. We understand that verifying identities and websites is an ongoing process. Names and addresses change, fraud is discovered, profiles change, websites are added and deleted, and so on, requiring a continuing service relationship. There is no additional cost to update or change information on ReallyWho.

We will make sure you know where your information is being stored and processed. We use our own servers located in North Carolina, USA. Your information is not stored or processed on off-shore, hosted or cloud servers.
